IELTS Battles — Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 September 2026
By using IELTS Battles you agree to these terms.
- The game. IELTS Battles is a practice game. Scores, ELO ratings, ranks and gems have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or prizes.
- Fair play. Don't cheat, use bots or automated tools, exploit bugs, or harass other players. Nicknames must not be offensive or impersonate others. We may reset scores or suspend accounts that break these rules.
- Computer-controlled players. Some opponents, league and clan members are computer-controlled players, so you always have someone to battle. They appear in battles, leagues, clan standings, leaderboards and the live-battles list, but they are never offered as friends, never chat with you and never send invitations.
- Content. Questions and passages in the app are original practice material written for IELTS Battles. They are not official IELTS test material. IELTS is a registered trademark of the University of Cambridge, the British Council and IDP Education, which do not endorse this app.
- Availability. The service is provided "as is". We may change or discontinue features at any time.
- Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the app. Your use of the app does not guarantee any IELTS result.
- Changes. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the new version.
Community rules
Chat, clan walls, nicknames, clan names and stickers are shared with other players. When you use them:
- Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or discrimination, and no sexual or violent content.
- Keep personal data private. Don't share your own or anyone else's phone number, address, email, social media handles or documents. Links, phone numbers and email addresses are hidden automatically.
- No spam, scams or cheating. Don't advertise, sell accounts or share answers to get around the game.
- Block and report. You can block any player (they can no longer message, invite or befriend you) and report messages or profiles from the app. We review reported content within 24 hours and remove objectionable content.
- Consequences. Accounts that break these rules may be muted automatically while a report is reviewed, muted for longer, or suspended. Clans or names that break the rules may be renamed or removed.
